As the Texas craft beer movement spreads throughout the great state, more and more businesses are deciding to allow consumers to take their beer home with them. Selling growlers is a great way to let customers sample different beers and take home something new IMG_0834and exciting.
One of the bigger retailers to hop on the growler bandwagon is the H-E-B grocery store. Locations vary with setup; however, but newer locations feature dining areas for its mini-restaurant Flamin’ Bird, or in the case of the Meuller HEB in Austin, Tx., Cafe Meuller, which sells a variety of amazing foods including good ol’ Texas barbecue.
