2015 BrewMasters Craft Beer Festival

BCBF logo

This Labor Day Weekend, Galveston will play host to the 6th annual BrewMaster’s Craft Beer Festival.

There will definitely be beer.  Plenty of it; actually over 400 craft beers are said to be available to sample.  There will also be live music, and of course -the beach.

According to the website, “BrewMaster’s Craft Beer Festival is a unique multi-day event created for beer drinkers, learners, enthusiasts and experts. The festivities will be throughout the 242 acres of botanical beauty with specialty events at various venues around Galveston Island.”

If you’ve never been to the Moody Gardens area in Galveston, it’s definitely worth the trip alone.

The 3-day event will be filled with a ton of fun things to attend, but it’s mainly focused around two main events: BrewLicious Brews and Foods Pairing and BrewHaHa Grand Tasting.   There are also other events like the  BrewMasters Pub Crawl and The Texas Brewery Tasting Tours.  Each event will require a ticket and the ticket prices vary from $185 for the Big Hopper Pass to $25 for the Pub Crawl and Texas Tasting tours.  (More ticket options available here).

One thing to note, this is a 21 and up only event.  Though more and more events are trying to accommodate parents and their children, this isn’t one of them.  So get a baby sitter!

Back to the beer.

Tickets for the grand tasting will get you a special sampling mug, a program and a sampling card for 24 1 oz. samples of beer. Looking at the ticket info, it doesn’t look like you’ll be able to purchase more of those tasting cards, so enjoy each sampling!

I've lived in Texas all my life and can't express how much I love this state. I found that I was enjoying these amazing bbq spots and drinking fantastic Texas-made beer and wanted my buddies and I to be able to share them with our readers.
