Real Ale Brewing’s Latest Mysterium Verum Release Info

The ABGB will play host for Real Ale’s latest Mysterium Verum release on Saturday, March 21st. The latest incarnation from the award-winning series is named Tenebrae Aeterna, and the popular ‘beer garden and brewery” Real Ale's MV Tenebrae Aeterna 2will give the release a proper soundtrack as well: a metal show.
Real Ale calls Tenebrae Aeterna a barrel-aged sour porter and is  another fantastic offering added to the growing catalog of wild/sour ales.  Brewmaster, Erik Ogershok, explains it well, ‘“Tenebrae Aeterna, like all of the Mysterium Verum line, comes from our desire to make complex, flavorful beers that push our limits as brewers,” he continues, “It’s a modern beer, but it has its feet rooted in brewing history.”
A Real Ale press release explains the process behind making it a little further:
Tenebrae Aeterna is a robust porter that is secondary fermented in barrels with a blend of wild yeast and bacteria. “Patience is required as the processtakes close to two years, but the wait is worth it,” Erik added. “Chocolate and toffee with notes of hazelnut are complimented by the characteristic‘cherry pie’ flavors and aromas created during the time in barrels.”
In addition to this release, Real Ale will also have some special tappings including, Real Ale’s latest year round beers, Real Heavy, Commissar, and Red King, which will also be available in bomber bottles in April.

I’ve lived in Texas all my life and can’t express how much I love this state. I found that I was enjoying these amazing bbq spots and drinking fantastic Texas-made beer and wanted my buddies and I to be able to share them with our readers.
