On January 9th, 2015, Jester King will be releasing 2014 Autumnal Dichotomous.  It’s a saison brewed with squash, long pepper and sage, so definitely along the lines of a autumnal product.  This is the third seasonal saison from Jester King along with 2014’s Hibernal Dichotomous and Estival Dichotomous, so this latest release stays on track with Jester King brewring with the different seasons.

Head Brewer Garrett Crowell said, “I’m very inspired by nostalgia, and the smell of burning leaf piles is perhaps my most nostalgic memory of fall. The subtle smoke and spice character in the beer reminds me of those dim-lit autumn afternoons, running through the neighborhood and the smell in the air.”

The brewing process started late October 2014, and when it’s released fans can pick it up at the brewery for $12 a 750ml bottle.  There is a 4/person limit on bottles, so get there early to pick up one of 3,500 bottles produced.  It’s also available by the glass, so don’t fret if you don’t want to wait in the lengthy line that accompanies release day.  But note that this should be a brewery-only release, if you wanna try it, you’re gonna need to swing by.

I’ve lived in Texas all my life and can’t express how much I love this state. I found that I was enjoying these amazing bbq spots and drinking fantastic Texas-made beer and wanted my buddies and I to be able to share them with our readers.
