Brewers Bash Kicks off the 2014 Austin Beer Week Celebrations

When we brought you news that the Alamo Draft House would be featuring monthly styles of beer we knew that the focus on great beer would have to continue during Austin Beer Week.
No fear Austin beer lovers.
The Highball at the South Lamar Alamo Drafthouse plays host to the Brewers Bash event  on October, 22nd. This event is meant to be a little preview for the upcoming Austin Beer Week.
Proceeds will benefit the Texas Craft Brewers Guild, and will feature music by Shotgun Friday, Rare, cask and limited-release beers, and menu items that are thought out pairings for the available brew options.
It’s $10 to get in, but once you see the list of beer available you’re going to realize that’s very little to contribute.  Remember, good cause!
According to the Austin Beer Week Facebook page, there will also be a special raffle with chances to win:
Private karaoke session with a brewer, Austin Beer Week beer dinners, brewer swag, and other craft beer-centric prizes.

I’ve lived in Texas all my life and can’t express how much I love this state. I found that I was enjoying these amazing bbq spots and drinking fantastic Texas-made beer and wanted my buddies and I to be able to share them with our readers.
