Jester King, Live Oak Come Together for Kollaborationsbier

No, that’s not Pig Latin you’re reading. Kollaborationsbier is a new concoction featuring a partnership between two Texas brewers, Jester King Brewery and Live Oak Brewing. Today Jester King announced the collaboration adding that Live Oak helped to inspire them to begin brewing in the first place.jester-king-kollaborationsbier

This new brew has a release date of October 24th and will be available at the Jester King Brewery tasting room starting at 4pm. Kollaborationsbier will be available by the 750ml bottle, a total of 3,300 produced, and by the glass. Keep in mind that bottles will be $12 and that there is a two bottle limit per day.

Kollaborationsbier was produced with water from the City of Austin, malted barley, and hops. The fermentation process was aided with brewer’s yeast, wild yeast and bacteria. Partakers can expect a 4.2% ABV and 42 IBU.
