Traders Village Grand Prairie Hosts 30th Annual BBQ Cookoff

The Grand Prairie Traders Village is hosting its 30th BBQ Cookoff the second weekend of October.  This event has been sanctioned by the International Barbecue Cooking Association and will include competitions in chicken, pork spare ribs, brisket, and even a cook off for the kiddos.

As Texas is increasingly a torrent for amazing barbecue, judging is definitely not something we do on this site,  but we don’t discredit other cooking competitions.  Fans of barbecue will definitely have an opportunity to indulge in some delicious smoked meats.  At a flea market!

Traders Village is looking to the public to help judge this competition, so look for the judging area for an neat opportunity to sign-up to be a judge.

I've lived in Texas all my life and can't express how much I love this state. I found that I was enjoying these amazing bbq spots and drinking fantastic Texas-made beer and wanted my buddies and I to be able to share them with our readers.
