Jester King teases new blueberry beer
According to its Facebook page, the Austin, TX, brewery has tried this before but with no such luck. ” We recently began re-fermenting several hundred pounds of Texas blueberries with mature, barrel-aged, wild beer. Unlike our last attempt at blueberry re-fermentation, which became overly acetic or vinegary and was not released, this re-fermentation is going quite well so far and is developing some interesting minty flavors. If all continues to go well, we’ll release this new beer sometime around the end of the year.”
We can’t wait.
