2014 Untapped Festival- Houston
The next leg of the Untapped Festival will make its way into the bayou city, Houston. Set for September 20, the Untapped Festival will feature live music, with the Toadies headlining, and plenty of different breweries and beers available. The headlining brewery appears to be Saint Arnold, but Karbach, Real Ale, Fort Bend and others are representing the Lone Star state.
If you’re a fan of Saint Arnold, the Untapped Festival website announced that all Bishop’s Barrel selections would be available at different times of the day, and as an added bonus, Divine Reserve 14 that was aged in tequila barrels will also be available to enjoy. The BB schedule is as follows:
2:30PM: Bishop’s Barrel No. 1 – Bourbon Barrel Imperial Stout (Woodford Reserve Bourbon Barrels)
3PM: Bishop’s Barrel No. 2 – Old Ale in Chardonnay Barrels with Cherries(Saintsbury Chardonnay Barrels)
4PM: Bishop’s Barrel No. 3 – Bourbon Barrel Imperial Stout (Woodford Reserve Bourbon Barrels)
5PM: Bishop’s Barrel No. 4 – Bourbon Barrel Weizenbock with Cocoa Nibs(Woodford Reserve Bourbon Barrels)

There are three different ticket levels for this event: General Admission, GA w/ beer, and VIP. The music event is part of all three but the GA w/ beer includes beer sampling with a souvenir cup, and the VIP ticket includes the samples plus in/out privileges and 20% off of merchandise. Not too shabby!
